Hired by GlobalFluency to manage the eDiets.com account, I developed a unique mix of original storylines built around stories in the news, calendar events and client success stories. Many of my pitches led to stories in which eDiets.com was the only dieting source quoted.
In addition, I developed a five month overview of strategic media initiatives in order to focus attention on various eDiets.com programs including their alli partnership, men’s health and healthy workplace efforts.
My efforts resulted in a 30% increase in media placements including The Chicago Daily Herald, The Miami Herald, WGRT-FM (Detroit), Albany Times Union, Lincoln Journal Star, American Urban Radio Network, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, The Michael Dresser Show, The Indianapolis Star, The Connecticut Post and The Boston Globe.
In total, eDiets.com benefited from more than 8.6 million media impressions (more than $150,000 in publicity value) in less than three months.
